English Government Ships For Sale

Café Sperl and Café Glaser

To the careless treatment of our blog in the last few weeks (Certainly due to the enormous burden of the end of term and holiday stress) some supplement, here are two new reports of previously described Terrain:

Yesterday, Michelle, Chris and I in the Cafe Sperl in Gumpendorferstraße. This restaurant offers time-honored Viennese coffee house culture to very high prices (Melange 3.30), the atmosphere is reminiscent of the Scots about the ring or Black Mountain. The visit was mostly by chance, as we had agreed as a meeting place actually the increasingly popular Phil (see previous report), this opens on Mondays, but only by 17 clock. The mentioned high prices have made us but then moved to the Phil to change and enjoy a cold beer (alternative "youth beverages") along with small snacks at fairer prices.

Today I was at Café Glaser (see picture), which is relatively inconspicuous at the beginning of the next Währingerstraße Aida. This very very VERY little "trendy café" is certainly not the cheapest restaurant, but offers friendly and peaceful atmosphere in the immediate near university (even the wireless network is accessible from the main uni there - only with MacBooks;)). And: Alfred Dorfer goes there. I got it but only identified when leaving the premises.
