Little Things that Make Me Happy

Sometimes there are just small things such as beautiful color combinations that I can so very happy. This morning I was again pleased with my hydrangeas and asked them to society as a small bird in a purple cage. Together with the beautiful cover of a booklet with Japanese woodcuts this resulted in a fine still life for the window sill in my study. Sometimes there are
little things or simply a little color combination Which can make me happy infinetely. This morning I enjoyed my hydrangeas once again and gave them a little bird in a cage violet as a companion. Together with the beautiful cover of a small book with Japanese Xylograph they formed a lovely still life for the window sill in my studio.

And a few random little things in a mustard-colored shell to have later joined yet.
And later I added a mustard-colored bowl with a collection of some little things.

After I had photographed all the soft pretty colors, it was just much easier to deal with the paperwork that was waiting at the desk to me and the two sick cough Tiger wanted to talk again soon ...
After I had made photos of all those pretty colors and soft, it was much easier to do some boring paperwork soon and then two little tigers with a cough wanted to be entertained ...

How Much Does A Sew In Cost

Phew, Christmas is already over and it was as always beautiful and exhausting. Since almost all of us were a little sick, but unfortunately the child fell from Midnight Mass for us and the snow we have almost only seen from the window. But it was crafted and working around (with pearls, beeswax modeling clay, wood and plane), played (all the "board games", especially "The Itch Labyrinth) and of course celebrated, eating and playing music lush! At some point we will also baked cupcakes, which were beautiful and delicious, while my little ones prefer my normal muffins and the lavish spread of cheese and butter-sugar topping was not as hot. The roses were my sweet much too beautiful to eat and had to be kept
:-) Whew, Christmas is already over and it has been wonderful and exhausting as it always is. Because we had all been a little ill and so we did not go to the Christmas Mass (there is one for children Which is always so nice) and we almost saw only the snow looking out of the window. But there was a lot of crafting done inside  (with pearls, beewax modelling clay, wood and plane (plough?)), a lot of playing (parlour games and especially one which is called "The darned labyrinth") and of course we celebrated Christmas, made music and ate a lot of good treats! We also even made cupcakes which were delicious and beautiful but my little ones still prefer normal muffins and didn't so much enjoy the topping made out of cream cheese, butter and sugar. And my little girl even found that the roses were to pretty to be eaten and so they had to be put aside :-)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas :-)
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time :-)

Schutzengel/Guardian Angel

If all doors closed
and the windows are obscured, you must not
believe
to be alone.
For God is with you and your guardian angel
.
And why should they
need light to see
order
what you do?

Epictetus (c. 50-138)

When all the doors are closed and the windows are darkened, you may not believe that you are alone. Because God is with you and so is your guardian angel. And why should they need light so see what you are doing?

Epictetus (about 50-138)

Actually, I do not know whether I believe in God or even to angels. And it will give me the morning prayer with my little ones always strength and peace. I sing the "Hail Mary" in French ("Je vous salue Marie"), as my mom always had with my siblings and I did. A ritual in memory of my grandfather and my French German grandmother, who were both in very different ways very religious. Both are now something like the guardian angel of my children, I pray every night for their protection. Sometimes I speak in the form of a prayer from my feelings to the day, when something just was not as nice and has burdened the family. It erleichtert uns alle, wenn die Dinge danach geklärt sind und wieder Frieden einkehrt und die Kleinen dies mir ihrem "Amen" besiegeln.
Finally I don't really know wether I believe in God or even in Angels. But the evening prayer with my little ones always gives me strength and calm. I sing the "Hail Mary, full of grace" in French ("Je vous salue Marie"),  as my Mum did with my sister, brother and me. It's also a ritual in memory of my French grandpa and my German grandma who were both in their very singular way very religious. Both are now in some way the guardian angels of my kids and I pray each evening that they may protect us. Sometimes I say in the form of a prayer what I think about the day, especially when something went wrong and made the family feel bad. It soothes us all to clarify everything and to feel peaceful again and then my little ones this seal returned harmony with their "Amen".

the angels nostalgic way, I have discovered a year ago in a farm yard and photographed. Now I found the photo again and raised the first time on wood, so I can hang it in the room of my little sweet. And for you I have it set at questions remain there and slowly more and more pictures "with a touch of vintage beauty", wie es die liebe Jacqueline mal so schön formuliert hat, Einzug. Es macht mir so viel Freude, diese kleinen Unikate (jedes Bild ist ein wenig anders) zu gestalten und mit euch zu teilen :-)
By the way, I found this nostalgic angel one year ago in the garden of a Bavarian farm. Now I rediscovered this photo and mounted it for the first time on wood so I can hang it on the wall of the children's room. And for you I put it in my little DaWanda shop which is filled slowly with more and more art "with a touch of vintage beauty" as the lovely Jacqueline said so nicely. It's a great pleasure for me to create these small one-of-kind pictures (each one is a little different) and to share them with you :-)

from the poem" A la lumière "by Anatole France (1844-1924)

This time, light up the beautiful dried hydrangeas that my mom sent me (THANK YOU :-) not restrained and subdued, but in a warm, glowing Gold tone. Like maybe a little better the gloss of the Advent
:-) This time the beautiful dried hydrangeas Which had my mum sent to me (THANK YOU :-) are not shown in muted colors but in a warm and golden light. This perhaps fits better into the brilliance of the Advent season :-)
Yesterday I was allowed to peek out from behind a door way of Janas bloggers advent calendar and tell me something about . Somehow I had to say pretty much and the rates are partly but become a bit too long and nested ...
There's an interview with me on Jana's blog but it's only available in German ...

Wemen Shoing There Boobs

Blaue Hortensie/Blue Hydrangea

Just as the last green in color crucibles
these leaves, dry, dull and rough,
behind the flower umbels, which bear a blue
not up, only remotely reflect .

it reflect stained and inaccurate,
wanted when they lose it again,
and, like in old blue stationery
yellow in them, violet and gray;

Washed as a children's apron,
no longer worn, where nothing happens:
feels just a little life soon.
But suddenly seems Verneuer to the blue is
in one of the cones, and you see a touching blue
rejoice before the green.

Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926)

You can find several English versions of Rilke's poem "Blue Hydrangea" over here.

The Most Effective Gluta

Exhibition - bonjour cité, timbered Gievenbeck

bonjour cité - the architecture of the human

The photo exhibition by John Wallat in framework Gievenbeck shows how similar humans and have become the city.

Gievenbeck. The images act like empty scenes: A look at the gray and rainy Hamburg North Sea. The focus of a huge container ship - a small town in the sea. In the foreground, a single table. Empty. Seems to be missing a man. But oddly enough, seems to be missing on the pictures, where he is depicted. A sense of this paradox can be from 16 May 2010 win in the District timbered house where the young photographer John Wallat issuing some of his pictures.

Here man appears never to the way one normally sees him, as a social being. Rather, he always appears as part of the urban context - in which he himself almost an architectural element forms. The people are little more than objects, the buildings seem for many human-like. Long can architecture and man no longer clearly separated from each other: Not only do we change the architecture, the architecture also changes us - it creates an architecture of the people.

This is unusual at first glance and can have a vote and a little sadly: "It's an appealing sadness lies in the pictures," the photographer says itself so it is not least a sense of disconnectedness, that the photographs evoke: People are usually alone, it lacks the interaction. However, the integration in a group replaced by the intensification of the connection between man and space.

Born in Münster, Johannes Wallat who completes his studies at the time of the Dutch Studies at the University of Muenster photographed, has long been: "Photography for me a form to make volatile situations permanently visible." On frequent trips to Europe he has repeatedly stumbled over images and situations which appeared to him particularly. It is not least a picture of Europe, which draws John Wallat with his photographs: one of Europe that holds together as a package.

A selection of his images is on Sunday 16 May 2010, to be seen in the local café the timber Gievenbeck.

How To See Front Camera In Nokia E71

Kaki King at the Gleis 22

She is the ruler of Mount Olympus on the guitar, the first woman in the history of "Rolling Stone Magazine, the in the list of greatest guitarists of all time recorded was. A male domain in which she claims to law - in fact, their game looks like him, but it is when Kaki King on the stage indicated, first of all no evidence of her great talent. Is small and almost insignificant it seems. Simply dressed, no frills, no trace of extravagance, reserved and modest.
But whenever she gets going, all modesty is forgotten, swept away as by the indomitable energy with which she handled her instrument. This is not only great to listen, but also beautiful to see. And then the visitors crowd at the concert on Saturday in the Ausnahmegitarristin track 22, before the stage to take a look at the small Power woman to catch. A whole arsenal of guitars they have it, electric and half acoustic, a ukulele and a "Hawaiian guitar, slide guitar, played lying on his lap.
seem Technically their game no limits - she uses her guitar as a percussion instrument, tapping, plucking and strumming switches effortlessly between delicate finger-picking, harmonics and hard-edge attacks rock riffs. Since it's almost audacious nonchalance with which she gives her dexterity at its best. With a quiet smile, she plays the solo part of the show their gallop-like solos, seems at times to listen to themselves, as they would be curious to know what comes next. Kaki King play acts at any moment ready to no trace of effort.
But in addition to the virtuoso solo-she also has another side: the rock bride, the wide-legged guitar riffs runterschreddert. Then running their small band of excellence, in particular drummer Jordan Perlson, the tilt for the skins, it is a delight.
Here the raw side of Kaki King, the love revealed to the noise and energy. Songs like "Wrong Thing" and "Be Afraid" turn out to be true post-rock gems, shifting between quiet melancholiegetränkten intermediate parts and eruptive explosive eruptions, in which everything is blown away what is not nailed down and. A great concert that proves: Kaki King with her royal named.
